The whole grill is dishwasher safe

The innovation in the Immersa Grill comes from a response to customer demands and years of experience. This amazing new version lets you easily remove the electrical control panel, that is also the floating hinge, and then the entire grill is able to be immersed in hot water to soak, making cleaning so much easier than ever before! You can take the plates and tray apart and place them in your dishwasher so none of the cleaning is left to you! Floating hinge allows thicker food to be cooked

Grilling this way relies on contact. You really want those char lines and those dark, caramelized bars of flavour that are the difference between grilling and plain old frying. But that means you need to be able to accommodate different thicknesses of food, so your thick steaks and burgers get the same amount of contact as thin slices of courgette or peppers and fish fillets. The floating hinge lets the top plate adjust to whatever thickness your food is so you're always guaranteed perfect contact for those perfect grilled results!
